Hatzalah is proud to have been able to assist our community during these trying times. We are especially proud that we managed to secure the availability of testing to the community over the last few months. It is due to this testing that our children have been able to attend school. It is because of our commitment to our community that at this time we will be transferring all testing over to the Jewish Community Covid Testing at the Star K covid test site. We have found an urgent care center which is able to bill insurance for rapid tests. This means there will no longer be an out of pocket expense for the majority of our community.
Hatzalah has worked hard to ensure that accessibility of testing is not diminished as a result of this change. Effective, Sunday January 3, 2021, Hatzalah will no longer have any part in Covid testing. Please do not contact Hatzalah about Covid testing. Hatzalah would like to thank Mrs. Malka Schnitzer for her tireless work on this project. Her incredible efforts helped us test a few thousand community members over the past few months. We are grateful for the time and energy she put into the program.
